Hacker accesses names, credit card numbers of Art.com customers

A hacker gained access to the names and encrypted credit card numbers of an unknown number of Art.com customers.

What types of personal information? Names and credit card numbers. The site does not store information like Social Security or driver’s license numbers.

What was the response?
The company is taking additional steps to prevent further hackings.

Quote: “To date, the company is unaware of any unauthorized use of those credit card numbers or any attempted identity theft related to the intrusion,” according to a company statement.

    Cooooooooooool !! This article will be of great help .. Today Hacking became a serious problem throught the World…

    Many Hacker’s had made hacking as their profession.. Every Organisation is becoming victims of this ethical hacking… Especially Banking Sector need to be alert..

    I believe each organisation should increase their security to solve the bottlenecks of hacking.
