Another 380 employees and former employees of Ramsey County, Minn., were notified that their personal information was on a backup drive stolen from the car of an Ohio state intern in June.

What types of personal information? Names and Social Security numbers were included in the data.

What was the response? Identity theft insurance is available to Minnesota victims.

Details: Last week, 562 county employees were notified that their personal data was stolen.

The personal information of 1.3 million Ohio residents and hundreds of Connecticut state accounts were also on the drive.

County Manager Dave Twa said that it is unlikely that identity thefts have occurred as a result of the incident.
